St. Peter's Guild of Change Ringers, Wolverhampton

Celebrating 100 years of our Gillett 12 in 2011

Summer Ringing 2008 - Effective 21st July 2008

Due to the summer holidays there will be no ringing until Monday 1st September EXCEPT Sunday 3rd August and Monday 4th August.

Welcome to the website of the ringers of St. Peter's Collegiate Church, Wolverhampton

St. Peter's is the city church for Wolverhampton standing prominently in the city centre, as it has done for 1000 years. We are privileged to ring our fine peal of 12 bells, the first Gillett and Johnston twelve in the country. We have an enthusiastic membership but we are always on the look out for new members whether you can ring or not.

We ring twice a week, on our practice night Monday (19.45-21.00 except Bank Holidays) and for the Sunday service (10.00-11.00). You are welcome to join us at these times, but are advised to check that we are ringing first. Please check the blog or contact us.

We regularly ring Plain Bob, Little Bob, Grandsire, Stedman, Cambridge and others depending on band availability.

For further information, requests for peals, outings etc. please see the peal and outing request page and use the contact us link for enquiries to the left.

If you are new to ringing and want to find out what it involves follow this link.

Thank you for visiting.
